Ridge has the tendencies to be a very pessimistic and easily upset young male. Much of this personality is due to his refusal to accept himself and his sexuality, for he thinks being in love with another male makes one weaker than others, and he hates to think of himself as feminine. That is, until he met Gemangi. After the two were considered mates, Ridge remained hesitant of himself for a while, but after receiving a lot of love from Gem, he finally began accepting who he was. This made his personality seem more compassionate and loving, and he smiles much more often.
